E nga mana, e ngā reo o Pare Hauraki, nau mai haere me ki te wananga mo nga kai Māori ki Hauraki.
Matua Tohunga Tumau (culinary legend) Joe Mcleod, is on a mission to revitalise kai Māori so our cuisine can flourish for generations to come. His goal is to open the doors on mātauranga passed down by his tipuna for hundreds of years.
Joe McLeod (Ngāi Tūhoe), will share mātauranga around foraging kai from the whenua, the ngahere, the moana along with rongoa and traditional cooking techniques.
Joe will delight your puku with delicious kai, share about the whakapapa of the rongoa and how they will enhance the kai and your hauora. He kai mā te tinana, te hinengaro me te ngākau anō hoki!
The wananga includes time pātai followed by a hākari the whole whānau can enjoy!
